Henry Stephen Swiney, age 28, Bachelor, of Cathedral Precincts, Canterbury, Captain in the 69th Reg., son of John Swiney, & Agnes Laura Lambert, age 23, of St George the Martyr, Canterbury, Spinster daughter of Thomas Lambert.

They had two children;

Mildred Laura Lambert-Swiney born in Canterbury 1874.  Married Sir Harry Charles Malet, 7th Bt. At St George’s, Hanover Square in 1906.

Hilda Lambert Swiney, born in Canterbury in 1875.  Daughter of Captain Henry Stephen Swiney of Gensing House, St. Leonard's-on-Sea, and The Limes, Hawkhurst, Kent, by Agnes Laura, his wife, daughter of Thomas Lambert of Stanmore,Canterbury, Captain Royal Horse Artillery ; married. at St. Paul's, Knightsbridge, London. She married William Osbert Boothby (by the Rev. Frederick Boothby), on Saturday, 17 August 1907.

At the time of his daughters’ marriages, he was living at Gensing House, St. Leonards-on-Sea.

Violet Pauline Schlippenbach, born 1851-09-15 in Nizza. BayThO.  Married 1902-02-10 at St George’s, Hanover Square, London with Captain Henry Stephen Swiney.  She died on the 5th August,1922, aged 70.  She is buried at AQ F02.
